When you place an order or submit a contact form, we collect: first name, last name, email address, phone number, country, project notes, and any documents you upload for translation. We collect only what is necessary to complete your order and communicate with you about it.
We do not store payment card data. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., and occurs on Stripe's servers at checkout.stripe.com. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment details. We receive confirmation of payment completion and a Stripe session identifier, not card numbers.
We store cookie consent preference in your browser's localStorage under the key mn_cookie_ok. This does not transmit any personal data to our servers.
Standard web server logs may capture your IP address, browser user-agent, pages visited, and request timestamps for security and diagnostic purposes. These are not linked to your order identity and are not used for marketing.
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not add you to marketing mailing lists without explicit opt-in.
Documents you submit for translation are treated as confidential and shared only with the assigned translator and proofreader, both of whom are bound by confidentiality agreements. Documents are not used for any purpose other than the assigned translation project. If your project involves particularly sensitive materials, a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement is available on request before any files are shared.
Order records including your contact information and project scope are retained for a minimum of 5 years for business record-keeping and dispute resolution purposes. Translated documents are retained for 90 days after delivery to support the revision period, after which they may be deleted. You may request earlier deletion of your files by contacting hello@translatemenow.com.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. When you proceed to checkout, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted payment page. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Our website is hosted on third-party server infrastructure. Hosting providers may process server log data as described above.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising or behavioral tracking platforms.
You may request access to personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your personal data subject to our retention obligations, and restriction of processing in certain circumstances. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@translatemenow.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Our services are not directed to persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have received personal information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
