This Refund Policy applies to all purchases from translatemenow.com. Because professional translation requires specialist time allocation and confidential document handling, refund eligibility depends on where in the project lifecycle a cancellation or dispute occurs.
If you cancel before returning the project intake form after payment, you are eligible for a full refund minus a $35.00 administrative processing fee. To cancel, email hello@translatemenow.com with your order reference. We will process your refund within 5 business days.
If you cancel after returning the completed intake form but before a translator has been assigned and active work has begun, you are eligible for a 75% refund. The remaining 25% covers intake review, scope confirmation, and translator sourcing for your specific document type and language pair.
Once a specialist translator has been assigned and translation work has actively begun, a 50% refund is available. If translation is more than 75% complete at the time of cancellation, no refund is available because the majority of the specialist work has been completed.
No refund is available after the completed translation has been delivered to your email address. Your included revision rounds remain available within the revision window to address any accuracy concerns. If the delivered translation materially fails to reflect the source document, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will correct it at no additional charge.
The Express 48-Hour Delivery add-on is non-refundable once the project has been confirmed for express handling. If we cannot fulfill express delivery for reasons within our control, the add-on fee will be fully refunded.
Consultation sessions cancelled with less than 12 hours notice are non-refundable. Cancellations made with more than 12 hours notice receive a full credit applicable to a rescheduled session within 60 days.
If no intake form is returned within 14 days of payment, we will contact you by email. If no response is received within 7 additional days, the order may be cancelled and a refund issued minus the $35.00 administrative fee and any reasonable project planning costs incurred.
If your actual source document word count is significantly higher than your package capacity allows, we will provide an adjusted quote before beginning. If you choose not to proceed at the adjusted price, you may cancel the order for a full refund of the original payment.
Email hello@translatemenow.com with your order reference number and reason for the refund request. We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 business days. Refunds are returned via the original Stripe payment method and typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.
